Zostel, India’s largest and most trusted backpacker hostel chain, is excited to announce the launch of Zo Trips, a game-changing initiative designed to bring order and convenience to the fragmented group travel market in India. The new offering aims to streamline travel for solo travellers, couples, and groups, allowing them to explore incredible destinations without the hassle of organizing accommodations, transportation, or activities.

A New Era for Group Travel

Zo Trips offers short (1-3 days) and long (6-9 days) curated travel experiences, catering to a diverse range of travellers. The itineraries feature a mix of Indian and international destinations, including Meghalaya, Andamans, Zanskar, Spiti, Tawang, Kerala, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, Bhutan, and Nepal. With a 100% local approach, Zo Trips works closely with local experts to provide an authentic experience, featuring activities like scuba diving, cruising, ziplining, hikes, cultural exchanges, and food tours.

Bringing Structure to Group Travel

As the group travel sector in India grows at a robust CAGR of over 12%, Zo Trips aims to address the challenges often faced by travellers in the fragmented market. Many smaller, unregulated players leave travellers grappling with hidden costs and inconsistent quality. Zo Trips solves this by providing well-structured, high-quality travel solutions.

"Zo Trips aims to bridge this gap by offering structured, reliable, and high-quality travel experiences, allowing travellers to focus on the joy of exploration," said Dharamveer Singh Chouhan, Co-founder & CEO of Zostel.

Plans for Expansion

Zo Trips is already receiving overwhelming interest from domestic and international travellers, with 3000+ travellers in its pilot phase. Chouhan shared, "We plan to expand Zo Trips across iconic and hidden Indian destinations and internationally, with trips to over 15 countries and 100+ destinations in India by the end of 2025."
