Bangkok’s Saturday brunch scene just got a whole lot more indulgent—and sky-high. The Kites Eatery at INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit is now hosting an extravagant monthly brunch on the first Saturday of each month, running from 12 PM to 3 PM on the hotel’s 31st floor. And this isn't your average buffet. It's a vibrant, multi-sensory culinary experience featuring global flavours, a live band, and a jaw-dropping variety of gourmet delights.
Curated by Executive Chef Katisak 'Note' Pinkaew and his talented team, the brunch spans themed food stations ranging from Mediterranean mains to Japanese sashimi, Spanish cold cuts, and Thai sweets—plus a chocolate fountain to seal the deal.
Among the highlights:
Seafood on Ice: Normandy and Fine de Claire oysters, New Zealand mussels, Canadian lobster with Spanish sauce (one per guest), cooked prawns, and more.
Build-Your-Own Egg Station: Not your regular omelettes. Think eggs benedict with smoked salmon and roe, caviar-topped scrambled eggs, and fluffy pancakes with egg and smoked bacon.
Cold Cuts & Cheese: Everything from jamón serrano to fuet and bresaola, paired with cheeses like Manchego, Gorgonzola, Camembert, Idiazabal, and Swiss.
Japanese Corner: Tuna, salmon, ebi, tamagoyaki, tako, hamachi, tobiko, and salmon roe sashimi—crafted fresh, on the spot.
Fried Station & Soup Bar: Shrimp croquettes, layered potato with salsa brava and aioli, plus classic and creative soups.
Salad & Mediterranean Mains: Caprese, grilled halloumi, grilled octopus with pickled paprika, braised pork cheeks, Australian short ribs with truffle mash, and dill-grilled fish.
BBQ & Carving Station: Roasted lamb, whole baked fish, and skewers with beef, lamb, seafood, and chicken.
Pizza & Pasta: Truffle mushroom or four-cheese pizzas and a fresh pasta station with crab pesto.
And the desserts? They’re nothing short of a festival:
A full chocolate fountain with all the trimmings—churros, strawberries, brownies, marshmallows, and crackers.
Assorted cakes, Thai traditional sweets, granola, yogurt, and seasonal fruits.
House-made INNSiDE x MEK ice cream in unique flavours like Chumphon chocolate, sun-dried banana, and coconut milk.

Manchurian just got a major upgrade. Chinese Wok, India’s leading home-grown Desi Chinese QSR chain, has reinvented the much-loved dish with a twist that’s making waves in the quick-service restaurant space. With the launch of Manchurian in six signature sauces, the brand is not only expanding its flavour universe but also changing how India enjoys one of its favourite fusion bites.
This isn’t just another menu addition. It’s a full-blown flavour experience. With choices like Classic Manchurian, Kung Pao, Hunan, Desi Chilli, Schezwan, and Black Pepper, diners now have the freedom to pick a sauce that matches their mood, whether it's sweet, spicy, bold, or fiery. It’s a playful, pick-your-flavour approach to Manchurian that’s both fun and full of personality.
This launch also marks a first in the Indian QSR industry, showcasing how deep consumer understanding can spark smart, scalable innovation. Chinese Wok has always been known for bringing punchy flavours to the table, and this latest move reinforces its commitment to being bold, relevant, and exciting.
Speaking about the innovation, Aayush Madhusudan Agrawal, Founder & Director of Lenexis Foodworks, shared,
“With this launch, we wanted to reimagine a fan favourite and make Manchurian more fun, flavourful, and personal. Offering six distinct sauces is our way of giving customers more ways to enjoy what they already love with a fresh twist that keeps it exciting.”
The timing couldn’t be more perfect. As Chinese Wok celebrates 10 Woktastic Years, this launch doubles up as a celebration of the brand’s journey, from one outlet in 2015 to over 240 stores in 35+ cities today. The Manchurian range is not just a tribute to the brand’s roots, but a sign of its ever-evolving spirit.
What sets Chinese Wok apart is how it continues to blend cultural familiarity with forward-thinking menus. This latest offering isn’t just a fun flavour experiment, it’s a sign that the brand listens closely to its audience and isn’t afraid to shake things up.
By bringing spice, speed, and smart innovation to the table, Chinese Wok is once again proving why it's at the forefront of the Desi Chinese movement. With the Manchurian menu turning more versatile and vibrant than ever, the brand isn’t just setting trends, it’s defining the category.

India's $95.75 billion restaurant industry is undergoing a rapid transformation, growing at over 10% annually on the back of shifting consumer habits, rising urban aspirations, premiumisation, and a wave of food-tech innovation. Tapping into this momentum, the 14th edition of the Indian Restaurant Congress & Awards will take place from August 5–6, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, this year, in tandem with the launch of Coffee & Tea Asia Summit 2025. Together, the dual-format event will bring more than 2,000 leaders, creators, and changemakers under one roof, offering a panoramic view of the future of food, beverage, and hospitality in India.
Organised by RestaurantIndia.in and Franchise India, and powered by Founding Partner, Cremica and Fuel Partner – Indian Oil, this two-day summit is not just a celebration of growth, it's a deep dive into the ideas, people, and platforms shaping the next decade of dining and beverage consumption in India. Cha-Chi Communications joins as the official PR & storytelling partner, lending voice and vision to the conversations redefining food and hospitality.
Themed "A Global Outlook," IRC 2025 will spotlight India's emergence as a global culinary force from homegrown brands expanding internationally to international QSR players scaling operations in India. Through a dynamic mix of keynotes, panel discussions, and focused breakout sessions, the summit will delve into the future of dining with conversations on immersive experiences, phygital restaurant formats, hyperlocal growth, 10-minute delivery ecosystems, and technology-led kitchen models. With over 150+ influential voices from across the F&B ecosystem, IRC 2025 promises a rich, future-facing agenda designed to inspire and equip every player in the foodservice value chain.
The event culminates with The Indian Restaurant Awards & Culinary Innovation Awards 2025, honouring excellence across formats, regions, and categories, from legacy fine-dine institutions to delivery-first kitchen disruptors.
Making its India debut on August 6th, Coffee & Tea Asia (CTA) will serve as a dedicated platform for the fast-growing beverage ecosystem. It brings together café owners, roasters, tea planters, packagers, café-tech entrepreneurs, equipment makers, and baristas for a vibrant B2B experience of product discovery, tastings, demos, and high-value networking.
As Indian cities witness a café culture boom driven by Gen Z and premium urban consumers, CTA 2025 offers brands a chance to tap into the next big wave in Asia's beverage economy from sustainable brewing and ethical sourcing to cutting-edge equipment and experiential cafés.
The event floor will be organised into four curated zones:
With over 2000 premium attendees expected, including stakeholders from across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, the summit promises unprecedented opportunities for business matching, lead generation, and strategic partnerships.
India's food and beverage industry is evolving at an unmatched pace and IRC & CTA 2025 are where its future will be written. Whether you're scaling your restaurant, disrupting café chains, or building the next F&B tech unicorn, this is where the most serious conversations happen.
As India's food and drink landscape becomes increasingly experiential, tech-enabled, and globally influenced, IRC & Coffee & Tea Asia 2025 promise to deliver future-first insights, industry connections, and brand visibility for every serious stakeholder in the ecosystem whether they're serving up street eats or premium pours.
