In a landmark collaboration, WOW Resorts and JW Marriott have announced a remarkable new development on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), UAE. The project, JW Marriott Al Marjan Island Resort & JW Marriott Residences Al Marjan Island, represents a fusion of luxurious living and discerning hospitality. With an estimated value of USD 1.3 billion, this development is poised to be a shining addition to Marriott International’s luxury portfolio and a symbol of grandeur on Al Marjan Island, a coveted destination for tourists and investors.
The project’s launch was celebrated in the UAE, led by Bhupender ‘Bruce’ Patel, CEO & Founder of WOW Resorts, along with Marriott International representatives and Arch. Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan. Bhupender Patel, a first-generation Indian-American with roots in Baben, Gujarat, India, heralded the commencement of this architectural marvel. Designed by renowned architects and design houses from Los Angeles and Dubai, the property is set to redefine the landscape of luxury resorts.
Targeted for a grand opening towards the end of 2026, the JW Marriott Al Marjan Island Resort & JW Marriott Residences will mark WOW Resorts’ debut in the UAE. This ambitious project is also a precursor to further expansions in other Asian markets. The property is tailored to cater to a diverse clientele, including aspiring homeowners, global travelers, nature lovers, and aquatic sports enthusiasts, with a particular focus on key markets like India.
Bhupender Patel expressed his pride in this venture, emphasizing its significance as a new chapter in WOW Resorts' journey. The development capitalizes on the growing demand for waterfront living, aiming to optimize and elevate the experiences of guests and residents. Al Marjan Island, known for its enchanting beauty and strategic location, is emerging as a prime investment destination, particularly for high net-worth individuals (HNWIs) in India, given its proximity to the UAE.
This project is more than just a luxury resort; it’s an embodiment of WOW Resorts and JW Marriott’s vision to create a destination that blends opulent living with unparalleled hospitality. It’s a promise of an exclusive lifestyle experience, set against the backdrop of the stunning Al Marjan Island.
