In a significant move, JW Marriott Maldives Resort and Spa has appointed Srijith Ravindranath as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. Srijith brings a wealth of experience and expertise, boasting a remarkable 15-year career primarily focused on the Indian market.
Srijith's journey in the hospitality industry began with Ginger Hotels, and he has since held key roles at IHHR Hospitality, Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, and the St. Regis Goa Resort. His extensive experience covers various facets of the industry, from pre-opening activities and corporate sales to catering to international leisure clients and managing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events, including weddings and social gatherings.
What sets Srijith apart is his consistent track record of exceeding expectations, consistently achieving 130 percent of budgets. He's also successfully managed the transition of a resort from the Leela brand to the prestigious St. Regis Brand of Marriott International, showcasing his ability to navigate complex rebranding challenges while maintaining operational excellence.

Wyndham Garden Jim Corbett, Chhoi has announced the appointment of Vikkas Sharma as the hotel’s new general manager. In this role, Sharma will oversee overall hotel operations, focus on maximising revenue potential, enhance guest experiences, and foster a positive work environment for team members.
Given Jim Corbett’s popularity as a tourist destination famed for its tiger reserve, Sharma will also play a crucial role in promoting Wyndham Garden across key tourism markets.
Prior to joining Wyndham Garden, Sharma served as general manager at Lemon Tree Premier, Jim Corbett, where he managed hotel operations, sales and marketing, and staff development.

His rich industry experience and deep understanding of hospitality operations are expected to further strengthen Wyndham Garden Jim Corbett’s position as a preferred choice for travellers visiting this scenic wildlife haven.
