Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced the grand opening of Raffles Jaipur, a stunning new retreat that embodies the brand’s renowned elegance and service in one of India’s most vibrant destinations. Situated a short drive from Jaipur’s famed attractions and surrounded by the ancient Aravalli Hills, Raffles Jaipur is a modern-day re-creation of a palace, celebrating the regal art of living.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome guests to Raffles Jaipur, the brand’s second property in India. At Raffles, we look for world-renowned destinations rich with history, beauty, and culture, which is what led us to grow our presence in Rajasthan – whose ancient heritage of forts and palaces continues to inspire and capture the imagination of international travellers. We thank Ratan Kant Sharma and our partners at Triton Hotels and Resorts for sharing a like-minded vision and commitment to luxury, helping us bring this extraordinary hotel to life,” said Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles Hotels & Resorts.
Hand-carved from pure white marble, Raffles Jaipur showcases the finest of Rajasthani craftsmanship. Each element within this reimagined palace has been exquisitely handcrafted by skilled artisans, blending age-old traditions and techniques of Mughal and Rajputana architecture. The hotel features 50 guest rooms and suites, each unique in layout and décor, with an expansive balcony offering an outdoor soaking tub or plunge pool. Intricate details grace every corner, including painted corniced ceilings, golden murals, furniture featuring camel bone inlay, locally sourced artifacts, and carpets woven in Jaipur.
Raffles Jaipur inspires guests to connect with local culture at every turn. Upon arrival, a Shikar tent evokes memories of Royal Mughal expeditions, and the hand-carved sandstone columns in the hotel’s courtyard, each carved from different eras of Rajasthani architecture, offer a peek into the glorious past. Opulent Mughal furnishings and patterned marble floors adorn a spacious grand hall, from which a hidden, mirrored door guides guests to a light-filled atrium reminiscent of the design of women’s quarters in the Mughal court. The hotel’s signature scent of neroli, orange blossom, and saffron fills the air as guests explore.
Raffles Jaipur also features the brand’s legendary Butler Service, with dedicated butlers ready to meet guests’ every need, from curating bespoke experiences to providing heartfelt care. Unique to Raffles Jaipur, butlers offer curated healing rituals traditional to Rajasthani culture, including botanical-infused bathing, health elixirs made from local spices, and specially developed plant-based ointments.
Raffles Jaipur is set to become a culinary destination with dining experiences that offer a modern interpretation of local gastronomy. Inspired by the primarily plant-based culinary tradition of the Zenana, or women’s quarters of the Mughal court, dishes at Arkaa, the hotel’s specialty restaurant, celebrate the essence of the Progressive North Indian region using local ingredients sourced from nearby micro-farms. The hotel’s Writers Bar features libations with freshly ground spices and herbs from the hotel’s garden, including the Jaipur Sling—a local take on the famed Singapore Sling created at Raffles Singapore in 1915. This drink, featuring orange liqueur, local herbal liqueur once used by royalty, pineapple juice, lime & bitters, and Indian dry gin, celebrates the pink hue for which Jaipur is known.
Traditional afternoon tea is served in Safir, bringing guests on a journey through diverse flavours with original creations. The rooftop bar Sehara offers stunning views of the Aravalli Hills and serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes with an emphasis on Italian specialties.
“Every element of Raffles Jaipur has been thoughtfully considered, from the architecture and design to the culinary offerings and wellness experiences. We hope to inspire our guests to immerse themselves in the local Rajasthani culture, while inviting locals to experience their home through a lens that is distinct to Raffles,” said Binny Sebastian, general manager of Raffles Jaipur.

LOYA at Taj West End, Bengaluru marked World Storytelling Day with a calm and thoughtfully curated afternoon that brought people together over stories and shared experiences.
The gathering was designed as a space for open conversations around storytelling, seen as a way to preserve meaning and capture the beauty and emotion of everyday life. Much like food, which often brings people closer, storytelling became the centre of the afternoon’s experience.
The session featured a diverse group of voices, including writer and journalist Ruth D’Souza Prabhu, wine expert and writer Ruma Singh, hospitality connoisseur Aslam Gafoor, and sensory artist Indu Antony, known for capturing the unique scents of Karnataka.
As the conversation unfolded, it became clear that despite their different backgrounds, storytelling connected them all. Rooted in Indian culture and heritage, food emerged as a shared theme, bringing together memories, perspectives, and personal journeys, reflecting what LOYA aims to celebrate.
The menu added another layer to the experience, featuring dishes with strong cultural roots and stories of their own. Guests were served selections such as Dal ki Chaat, Dahi Kraal, Gola Paratha, Tudkiya Bhaat, and Kala Moti Gucchi Pulao, each offering a glimpse into traditional flavours.
Set against the serene backdrop of Taj West End, Bengaluru, the afternoon carried a sense of quiet elegance. Conversations flowed naturally, supported by a thoughtfully planned culinary experience.
Through such initiatives, LOYA continues to create a space where food, culture, and storytelling come together in a meaningful way, offering guests an experience that goes beyond dining.
LOYA, operated by IHCL, is the brand’s flagship North Indian concept that celebrates the culinary traditions of the region. With a focus on time-honoured recipes, slow cooking methods, and heirloom ingredients, the restaurant presents flavours that are both authentic and refined. With a seating capacity of 117, LOYA at Taj West End, Bengaluru offers an experience where every detail, from the interiors to the music, is designed to reflect India’s rich food heritage while blending it with a modern touch.
