Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has signed new management agreements with Gruppo Statuto to open two luxury properties in Italy: Six Senses Milan and Six Senses Lake Como. These additions follow the successful launch of Six Senses Rome in 2023, further strengthening the brand’s presence in Europe.

The Milan property will open in 2025, located in the vibrant Brera district, known for its rich artistic and cultural heritage. It will feature 68 guest rooms, including 15 suites, two of which will have private plunge pools. Guests can enjoy a rooftop bar, sky pool, state-of-the-art spa, and a specialty restaurant with seasonal menus. Sustainability remains a priority, with eco-friendly design elements and an Earth Lab to promote environmental awareness.

Set to open in 2028, Six Senses Lake Como will occupy the restored Grand Hotel Cadenabbia on the lake’s western shores. The hotel will offer 102 rooms and suites, emphasizing wellness with an expansive spa and outdoor pools, including a floating pool on the lake. Dining options will include a terrace restaurant with panoramic lake views, perfect for romantic occasions.

Neil Jacobs, CEO of Six Senses, shared his excitement for these new projects: “Italy moves you like nowhere else. In few places do art, architecture, gastronomy, and the joy of living intertwine so effortlessly. Six Senses Milan and Six Senses Lake Como both speak to a purpose—the first offering attentive hospitality in a fashion hub, and the second providing a serene escape by the lake.”

Gruppo Statuto, already a key partner with Six Senses, owns several other properties, including Six Senses Rome, London, and Ibiza. Giuseppe Statuto, Founder of Gruppo Statuto, said, “Our collaboration with Six Senses reflects our shared ambition to deliver exceptional experiences. Italy’s history, culture, and lifestyle make it an ideal location for our continued investments in luxury hospitality.”

IHG Hotels & Resorts, the parent company of Six Senses, continues to grow its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio across Europe, with Italy playing a central role. These two new properties are part of IHG’s strategy to meet the rising demand for wellness-oriented travel experiences that combine sustainability and luxury.

NILE Hospitality has announced the upcoming opening of Park Inn & Suites by Radisson Rajkot, marking a significant milestone in Rajkot’s hospitality landscape as the city’s first internationally branded hotel.

The launch further strengthens NILE Hospitality’s growing portfolio of internationally managed properties while reinforcing its long-term strategic collaboration with Radisson Hotel Group. The upcoming property represents the seventh operational partnership between the two organisations and is expected to be the first among several Park Inn & Suites developments planned across emerging Indian markets.

Located in one of Gujarat’s fastest-growing commercial hubs, the hotel will feature 55 contemporary rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, and modern banquet facilities spread across approximately 2,500 sq. ft., catering to business meetings, social gatherings, and events.

The property will operate as an exclusively vegetarian hotel, reflecting regional culinary preferences and evolving traveller expectations in the Gujarat market.

The opening is expected to significantly elevate Rajkot’s hospitality ecosystem by introducing globally benchmarked service standards to a city witnessing strong industrial, commercial, and infrastructure-driven growth. Rajkot continues to emerge as a key business centre in Gujarat with thriving engineering, automobile, manufacturing, and SME sectors, creating increasing demand for professionally managed branded hospitality offerings.

Speaking on the development, Vikram Singh Chauhan said, “The hospitality landscape in Rajkot continues to undergo significance in line with the long-term development of its diverse economy and potential. Introducing Rajkot’s first international branded hotel, along with NILE’s long-established presence in Gujarat and Radisson’s world-class distribution network, will put us in a great position to contribute to the ongoing growth and diversification of the city’s hospitality sector.”

He further added that the collaboration with Devdwarika LLP as promoters reinforces the company’s commitment towards offering premium accommodation experiences for both leisure and business travellers seeking globally recognised hospitality standards.

The project highlights the growing importance of emerging urban markets within India’s hospitality expansion story, with branded hotel operators increasingly targeting high-growth commercial cities beyond major metros.
