Diya, the fine dining Indian specialty restaurant at The Leela Gandhinagar, has refreshed its menu to offer a more diverse and flavorful culinary experience. The revamped menu introduces an array of new dishes, blending traditional Indian flavors with modern culinary techniques.
The expanded menu at Diya features a carefully curated selection of kebabs, curries, and local vegetarian delicacies, along with a variety of mouth-watering appetizers and regional specialties. Vegetarian diners will find a range of delectable options, including treats from the Northwest Frontier cuisine, meticulously crafted by the talented chefs at The Leela Gandhinagar.
Master Chef Istiyaq, known as the “Master of Spices,” leads the culinary team at Diya. Chef Istiyaq brings his expertise from the streets of Aminabad and specializes in frontier cuisines such as Hyderabadi, Lucknowi, and Peshawari. His mastery of these cuisines, along with his skill in creating popular vegetarian recipes, is evident in the new menu.
Vikas Sood, General Manager of The Leela Gandhinagar, expressed his excitement about the revamped menu. “Diya has been a top fine dining destination for food lovers in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar since its inception. With the new menu, we are offering more signature dishes and exciting twists that will take our guests on a spicy culinary journey. Chef Istiyaq has once again recreated the magic he is known for, and we are confident that our guests will love the new offerings,” Sood said.
The new menu complements Diya's elegantly designed interiors, featuring champagne gold paisley brocade walls, Venetian mirrors, and artwork showcasing the archaeological grandeur of Gujarat. This combination of exquisite food and refined ambiance ensures a memorable dining experience for all guests.
With its fresh menu, Diya continues to be a premier dining destination, offering an enhanced culinary experience that celebrates the rich flavors and traditions of Indian cuisine. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to Gandhinagar, Diya's new offerings are sure to delight your taste buds and provide an unforgettable dining experience.
