DBS Bank India Expands DBS MAX for Multi-Gateway Digital Payment Collections

DBS Bank India has expanded the capabilities of DBS MAX, its merchant collections platform, with a new digital payment management solution powered by Juspay, enabling businesses to manage multiple payment aggregators through a single integration.

Launched at Global Fintech Fest 2026, the new capability is designed to help businesses strengthen payment resilience, optimise transaction flows and gain a consolidated view of their digital payment collections.

India's digital payments ecosystem has grown rapidly over the past decade, with UPI transaction volumes increasing significantly as businesses and consumers increasingly rely on digital payment methods. As transaction volumes grow, businesses are also adopting multiple payment aggregators to support payment reliability and provide seamless experiences to customers.

The new DBS MAX integration with Juspay's payment infrastructure enables businesses to use intelligent routing, with transactions directed according to merchant-defined rules and payment performance.

A unified dashboard provides visibility across payment gateways and payment methods, including transaction success rates, refunds and reconciliation. This allows businesses to monitor payment performance from a single interface and identify areas that may require attention.

The solution also enables merchants to add or switch between supported payment aggregators with minimal technical changes, reducing the time and effort involved in managing separate integrations.

Commenting on the expansion, Divyesh Dalal, Managing Director and Country Head, Global Transaction Services, Corporate Banking – Financial Institutions and SMEs, DBS Bank India, said:

"The acceleration of online commerce has led to a rise in consumer expectations for seamless online payment journeys. Given this ongoing evolution, corporates are now seeking platforms which provide a comprehensive suite of online payments with optimal payment modes for enhanced decision making. As a future forward bank, we envision our partnership with Juspay as the first step towards providing an intelligent payments platform offering a more streamlined merchant and end user experience. Leveraging our global credibility, local distribution and technology prowess, DBS is uniquely placed to provide advanced digital solutions to a wide number of enterprises across India. This marks the beginning of a new era in treasury management for corporates."

Through its partnership with Juspay, DBS MAX also introduces functionality aimed at addressing common challenges faced by merchants operating across multiple payment gateways.

One such capability is gateway-agnostic card tokenisation, allowing merchants to retain tokenised card information when switching between supported gateways. Consolidated payment data can also help businesses assess performance across gateways and tailor promotional campaigns based on customer and transaction insights.

Sheetal Lalwani, Co-Founder and COO of Juspay, said:

"By partnering with Juspay, DBS Bank India brings its established payments franchise and Juspay's leading payment orchestration capabilities together to further enhance DBS MAX for businesses. Together, we are bringing the strengths of banking and modern payments infrastructure to create a more intelligent and connected payments ecosystem for businesses. This collaboration aims to simplify the complexity of digital payments while giving businesses greater visibility, and control across their payment operations."

The latest expansion adds to DBS's broader focus on digital banking and transaction services. The bank was recognised with awards including Asia's Best Digital Bank and Asia's Best Bank for Customer Experience at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026. It was also recognised as Best Bank for Payments – Asia-Pacific and Best Bank for Transaction Banking – Asia-Pacific at the Global Finance Treasury & Cash Management Awards 2026.

In India, DBS was named Best Corporate Digital Bank – India by Global Finance in 2026, while DBS Bank India was recognised by CRISIL Coalition Greenwich as the Best Bank for Corporate Cash Management in India in both 2025 and 2026.
