Janardan Tiwari, the former Founder and CEO of DataTrained, has embarked on a new venture called HotelYaari, introducing a unique partial ownership model for hotel rooms. HotelYaari allows investors to acquire hotel room shares, benefit from property value appreciation, and earn a share of the income generated from room reservations.
Tiwari's vision with HotelYaari is to make hotel room ownership accessible to more people in India. This innovative model allows individuals to invest a relatively small amount and become partial owners of 4- or 5-star hotel rooms or holiday homes.
The advantages of this partial ownership model are multifaceted. Investors can enjoy monthly rental income from room reservations, benefit from property appreciation over time, and gain exclusive usage and exchange rights.
Tiwari stated, "Our goal is to enable individuals to invest as little as INR 5 lakh to own a share of a luxurious hotel room or a cozy holiday home. We're committed to enhancing the platform's efficiency for our customers in the next year and are also developing a secondary layer to facilitate the buying and selling of ownership shares."

The company has already been listed on the BSE since 2000, highlighting its long-standing presence in India’s financial markets.
The listing on the NSE is expected to improve stock liquidity, enable better price discovery, and provide access to a wider base of institutional and retail investors. This move further strengthens the company’s position in India’s growing listed real estate space. On its listing day, the company’s stock opened at INR 199 on the NSE.
