Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach is excited to present the Telugu Ruchulu Food Festival, a colorful celebration of the authentic and diverse culinary heritage of Andhra Pradesh. Held from January 10th to 19th, the festival takes place at The Square, where guests can indulge in a specially curated dinner menu that pays tribute to the region’s rich gastronomic traditions in honor of the Sankranti (Pongal) festival.
The menu at this vibrant festival features iconic dishes that showcase the bold and flavorful cuisine of Andhra Pradesh. Try the Natu Kodi Kura, a savory country-style chicken curry, or the Konaseema Chepala Pulusu, an aromatic fish curry from the Konaseema region. The festival also offers Ragi Mudda, wholesome finger millet balls, and other beloved regional delicacies that celebrate the heart of Telugu cuisine.
Adding an extra layer of cultural celebration, the event invites guests to partake in a rangoli-making competition, allowing them to express their creativity and honor this traditional art form.
Ms. Lakshmi Sridhar, General Manager of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, commented on the event, "At Novotel, we take immense pride in celebrating the unique culinary traditions of our region. The Telugu Ruchulu Food Festival reflects our commitment to delivering unforgettable dining experiences that honor Andhra Pradesh's rich gastronomic legacy. We invite guests to join us for an evening of authentic flavors and cultural indulgence."
Join us at The Square for this unforgettable culinary experience, where every dish tells a story of Andhra Pradesh’s culinary richness, inviting guests to enjoy a vibrant blend of flavors and tradition.
