Loca Loka, the Indian AlcoBev company making waves worldwide, has appointed Rajiv Ghumman as its Global Business Head, marking a significant step in its global growth journey. With over two decades of experience in the AlcoBev industry, Rajiv has worked with renowned brands such as Bacardi, Jose Cuervo, and United Distillers India Ltd, where he led marketing for iconic names like Black & White, Vat 69, and White Horse Whisky.

In his new role, Rajiv will focus on global expansion strategies, sales operations, and innovative marketing initiatives to establish Loca Loka as a leading name in premium tequila. The company, which recently launched in the United States and Southeast Asia, aims to tap into the rising global demand for high-quality agave-based spirits.

In the past six months, Loca Loka has achieved major milestones. The brand launched its handcrafted tequila offerings—Tequila Blanco and Tequila Reposado—in the United States and Southeast Asia, targeting markets with high demand for premium spirits. With reports showing a CAGR of 8.1% in the global tequila market (2022-2028), Loca Loka is poised to capitalize on the growing trend toward premium and craft tequila.

The Tequila Blanco, retailing at $40, offers a vibrant profile with fruity flavors of cooked agave and floral notes from Highland agaves. The Reposado, priced at $49, boasts a richer aroma and is aged in French and American oak barrels, creating a smooth, premium experience.

At Holiday Inn Express, he will focus on strengthening consistency and elevating dining experiences across all properties. With more than two decades of experience across luxury, upscale, and economy segments, Sachin brings strong operational knowledge along with a people-first leadership approach. His journey in hospitality includes hotel pre-openings, large renovation projects, food and beverage innovation, and driving performance across varied market conditions. In his new role, he will lead the ibis portfolio in Mumbai, with a clear focus on improving daily operations, enhancing guest experiences, and building steady, long-term growth in the city.

Alongside this, he also served as F&B Alchemist for Accor India and South Asia, working closely with teams across markets to encourage culinary innovation, strengthen brand storytelling, and create engaging dining experiences.

His experience includes supporting the launch and stabilization of a new hotel, leading revenue and reservations teams, and driving consistent top line growth through focused pricing, forecasting, and inventory planning.

At Novotel Ahmedabad, he will lead the next phase of the hotel’s revenue planning with an emphasis on demand-based pricing, sharper segmentation, and a well-balanced business mix. His role will also involve improving distribution efficiency, enhancing forecasting accuracy, maintaining budget discipline, and using market intelligence to strengthen the hotel’s competitive position. Working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams, he will ensure revenue strategies are aligned with changing market conditions and implemented effectively across all channels.
